Robert G Wood

ROBERT G. WOOD, age 69, of Richfield, passed away September 11, 2023.  Beloved husband of 41 years to Cheryl W. (nee Wunderlich); loving father to Mallary L. Biros (Christopher), and Robert J. Wood (Meredith); cherished “Pop” to Penelope, Theodore, Conor and Rowan; dear brother to the late Lauren Grbavac (the late Roger), Thomas Wood (Donna), Mary Ann Buzzelli (Kenneth), the late Dorothy Wood, and James Wood (Karen); brother-in-law to Charles Wunderlich (Sue); close friend to Tony Martin (Marijo); and uncle and friend to many.  Bob was an avid golfer, enjoyed all Cleveland sports and was always known to be a good jokester.  Most importantly, Bob enjoyed trips to the shores of Ocean City, New Jersey, which he considered to be his happy place.  Friends may call at the FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME 356 W. (OHIO RTE. 82) SAGAMORE HILLS where Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 3:30 p.m.  VISITATION SUNDAY 12:30 P.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE AT 3:30 P.M.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Robert’s name to American Diabetes Association, 4500 Rockside Rd, Independence, OH 44131.
