ROBERT MITCHELL SLIFE: 79, Beloved husband of Janice L. (Nee Mihelcic); Loving father of Mitchell Joseph Slife (Maggie); Cherished grandfather of Stig Slife: Dearest brother of Daniel Slife (Kim) and the late Barbara, Patsy, Mary, and Bill; brother-in-law of Donald Mihelcic (Karen); Dear uncle of Joshua Mihelcic; uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Bob was a 1965 graduate of Gilmour Academy and a 1969 graduate of John Carroll University. He worked in the family business of RMX Material Handling in sales. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Chagrin Valley Country Club for many years. Bob enjoyed reading historical books and listening to classical music. He was involved with the stock market and belonged to a stock club. Family and friends were an important part of his life. Family suggests memorial contributions in Bob’s name to Gilmour Academy. Family and friends are asked together at Our Lady Chapel at Gilmour Academy 34001 Cedar Rd. Gates Mills, OH for VISITATION SATURDAY, MAY 23rd 9:30AM -10:30AM. Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Bob’s life at 10:30AM. Interment Aurora Cemetery.
