Dale Richard Walters

Dale Richard Walters, age 47, went home to the Lord on Friday, August 5, 2022.  Dale lived for his Family, doted on his wife, and vehemently loved his children. He is the loving husband of Joan (nee Dunn); the cherished father of Emily, Garrett, and Liam; son of William and Deborah; brother of Carrie Ludwig (Paul), Gretchen Oleksik (John), and Gwen Walters; son-in-law of Carroll Dunn (the late Gary); brother-in-law of Colonel Catherine Dunn, U.S. Army Reserves; Uncle of John Wm, Megan, Matthew, Lauren, Michael, Jase, Chipper, and Maddox.  He was the fun-loving cousin of many.

Dale was beyond proud of his three children and loved all aspects of life.  All who knew him enjoyed his great sense of humor, ability to talk your ear off, overwhelming kindness, knack for his movie quote ability, and sense of making you feel welcomed. Dale echoed perseverance not only in his daily life, but in his 26 year tenure with Abarta Coca Cola.  To say he will be missed is an understatement.

Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA ROAD (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION ON WEDNESDAY FROM 1-3 AND 5-8 P.M. All are asked to gather at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 9451 Brandywine Road, Northfield on Thursday at 10 a.m. to celebrate Dale’s Mass of Christian Burial. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
