William Peter Segulin

From his birth in Cleveland, Ohio on November 12, 1935 until his death, Bill nourished the people around him with love and faith. After graduating from John Adams High School in 1952, he attended Worchester Polytechnic Institute in Worchester, Massachusetts. On June 7, 1958, Bill married Nancy (nee Lange) at St. Aloysius Parish in Cleveland, Ohio. Bill was a member of the Maple Heights Catholic Club, serving as Recording Secretary for 27 years.  He also served as Recording Secretary of the Holy Name Society and Secretary of Knights of Columbus Council #5106. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Nancy and their 3 children, Christine Vargo, Renee Koly (Thomas), and Brian (Virginia Miori); 7 granddaughters, Sarah Vargo, Emily Koly, Stephanie Dimos (William), Kimberly Koly (fiance Alex Court), Andrea Segulin, Catherine Cardamone, and Elizabeth Cardamone; great grandson Mason Dimos; sister Jane Sarnecki; sisters-in-law Marilyn Fair and Donna Mellinger and many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Jennie (nee Cekada) and brothers-in-law, Manley Fair, Theodore Sarnecki, and niece Lynn Sarnecki. He will be remembered for his commitment to faith, family, and compassion for others. He treasured the special moments when he was surrounded by his family, gardening, going to club meetings, home remodeling projects and lending a hand to anyone who needed help.
